Propel Aviation Sales & Services LLC. has received four of the seven brand new Cessna 172 G1000 aircraft from Africair Inc. that we will be retrofitting with Continental’s CD-155 diesel engines. These aircraft are the second batch of training aircraft for Africair’s Ethiopian customer.
Last year, we converted three brand new G1000 172 aircraft and their implementation into the customer’s training operation was so successful that they have purchased seven more for 2015. This first group of four delivered from Cessna at the end of January, and the other three will be coming in late March.
Propel Aviation Sales & Services LLC. & Africair Inc. are very excited to see continued growth for our diesel aircraft conversion business. With each conversion project we continue to learn and fine tune our procedures.
